Having spent a significant part of the last three days behind the wheel, and crossing a good chunk of the East Pilbara in the process, my extensive backlog of podcasts has been cleared. Heard some really cool tracks and consequently have some new names to investigate but the absolute pick of the
bunch was nothing new at all.
To hear Gilles Peterson giving a retrospective of his career and describing the journey he has taken with music was nothing short of amazing. How amazing? DJ has now made it on to my list of dream jobs. But only if I'm already famous and can just spend all day listening to music and sharing it with people.
